SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a device for protecting a platform when moving the support end of the support on the side of the mined space, wherein device is installed in upper extreme position of hydraulic support and includes mechanism of movable support post, automatic separation and closing mechanism in connection recess and movable mechanism of return. Mechanism of movable support post includes two parallel belts and multiple rollers supporting belts, at that rollers are installed on mechanism of support post, which is their direct support. Mechanism for automatic separation and closure in connection cavity consists of two curved bearing plates fixed between two belts, wherein two bent bearing plates are located at a distance from each other. Movable return mechanism includes two telescopic rods and telescopic springs fixed on said rods, wherein the telescopic rod is connected to the return spring end to create a synchronous mechanism and these both parts have common ends, one of which is connected to one side of the curved bearing plate, and other end is fixed on end of hydraulic support by means of fixed support element.
EFFECT: present invention protects the platform and certain structures of anchor rods or fastening ropes, which are open during movement of the support, balances the load on the roof of the drift during movement and automatically resets compression if the support is compressed.
