FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building, particularly, to tests of elements and assemblies of fuel equipment of diesel engine and is intended for testing and adjustment of nozzles of motor and tractor engines. Using the proposed device, the injection pressure is determined, which characterizes the nozzle operation quality, and the nozzle spray angle of the fuel. Device is assembled on the basis of discarded two-section fuel pump of distribution type, that is, pressure source are pump sections, in which unions 6, 7 are connected through header 9. High pressure pipe pressure valve nozzle is plugged. Distributing grooves of plungers are aligned with distributing holes of sleeve at those high-pressure nozzles, which are connected through collector, and batchers are installed in position of maximum fuel supply. Fuel tank 17 of the device has a double function - serves for storage of fuel and capacity, where fuel is injected by the tested nozzle. Inside tank 17 coaxially to tested nozzle 16 there is cone-shaped damper 21 that reduces the formation of fuel mist and its mixing with the environment. Upper part A of tank 17 is made flat, and tested nozzle 16 is located to it perpendicularly. Tank 17 itself can move up and down along vertical post 19. To check the spray angle, the tank is placed at a certain distance from the sprayer of the tested nozzle, a sheet of paper is installed on the plane of the tank and fuel is injected. Spray angle is determined from the diameter of the print on the sheet of paper. Distance from the paper to the sprayer of the nozzle is set for each design of the nozzle depending on its technical characteristics.

EFFECT: technical effect of application of proposed device during testing of nozzles consists in increase of resource use of distributing fuel pumps, expansion of functional capabilities of device, improvement of conditions and convenience of work at workplace.
