FIELD: processing of oil production wastes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a chloride based method of generating liquid well-killing wastes. Regeneration is performed in three stages: 1. neutralization of acids (or alkalis) contained in spent solution; 2. cleaning of spent solution from hydrocarbons and mechanical impurities by pressure flotation method; 3. bringing the purified solution to a value of density 1.32 g/cm3 (requirements for well-killing solutions).
EFFECT: invention enables regeneration of spent well-killing fluid based on calcium chloride.
