FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Synchronous generator with voltage regulator comprises three-phase stator excitation winding. Also excitation generator and resistance regulators. Synchronous generator is equipped with an automatic voltage regulator which consists of a carbon rheostat assembled from separate coal washers and a damper spring. Electromagnet acting on thrust of coal rheostat via lever with hinged joint in the middle. Provided is current transformer, and for make-up of electromagnet in circuit of coal rheostat is applied semiconductor rectifier. To smooth current and voltage surges, stabilizing transformer is used.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency and reliability of operation.
