FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to electric DC machines. Axial controlled contactless engine-generator comprises a housing, in which there is a control unit, side axial magnetic cores with multiphase armature windings of main and additional generators, an inner axial magnetic core with multiphase armature winding of a sub-exciter, main and additional single-phase excitation windings of an exciter. Rotor shaft is fitted with a permanent axial multipolar magnet of a sub-exciter inductor and axial rotary magnetic core with multiphase armature winding of exciter and single-phase main generator excitation winding. Permanent magnet of sub-exciter inductor is made with rotor position sensors, each of which consists of signal coil and permanent magnet, fixed at a constant axial multipolar magnet of sub-exciter inductor along outer radius. Signal windings are installed at intersection of plane passing through axis of symmetry of permanent magnets of rotor position sensors and perpendicular to rotor rotation axis, fixed on inner surface of housing by means of a rod and equally spaced from neighbouring signal windings. Rotor shaft is fixed in bearing assemblies and is rigidly connected with permanent axial magnet of sub-exciter inductor and inner axial magnetic conductor by means of discs. Multiphase armature windings of main and additional generators are arranged with identical number of phases, and permanent axial magnet - with number of poles, equal to number of poles, created by single-phase main generator excitation winding. Control unit allows switching of engine-generator into generator, motor or two-input.
EFFECT: invention is intended to convert mechanical energy of rotation into DC electrical energy of high quality, as well as for conversion of DC electrical energy into mechanical energy of rotation with controlled frequency of rotation.
