FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extruded convex plastic panel for use in metal roofing system. Extruded convex plastic panel includes a light-transmitting element having an upper and a lower layers and a ribbed structure located between the upper and lower layers. Panel also includes a pair of standing folds arranged on two opposite lateral edges of the light transmitting element. Pair of connector assemblies is made as separate unit, which connects plastic panel with metal roofing system and allows light-transmitting element to freely expand and compress without using any fastening devices for connecting the plastic panel to the metal roof system.
EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of panel buckling.
