METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ROOF FORMING OF METAL SHEET MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: building, particularly roof building.

SUBSTANCE: method involves forming pattern members; connecting thereof in roofing strips; producing chimney collar and roof ridge. Pattern members are connected in strips extending the full roof slope lengths, including strip with chimney collar. Edges of intermediate and extreme strips are folded through 15°-20° on fold-out flooring outside the roof with the use of bars and blocks for pressing thereof. Connection of adjacent strips across the roof width and roof ridge seam is performed on the roof with the use of block adapted to secure strips relative roof slopes, block for pressing standing and ridge seams, block for stepped folding and pressing horizontal area of extreme cleat and dihedral extreme strip edge areas of ridge covering extending at 90° angle and block for strip lifting to roof slope.

EFFECT: extended operational capabilities of the method, increased safety, extended service life of the roof, reduced cost and time of roof forming.
