FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used in formation of composite polymer-containing coatings for protection against corrosion of articles and structures used in unfavorable weather conditions, in particular in open sea on oil platforms, in shipbuilding, where welded aluminum boats and motorboats are made exclusively from these alloys, in automotive industry for production of stamped parts of housing and chassis. Method comprises the plasma-electrolytic oxidation PEO of product in an electrolyte containing in g/l: sodium fluoride NaF 0.6–2.0 and potassium tartrate C4H4O6K2⋅0.5H2O 10–30, PEO process is carried out in a unipolar mode during anodic polarization of the oxidised surface, wherein the density of the anode current is kept constant at 150–160 A/dm2, the anode voltage is raised from 10–30 V to 420–440 V for 2.5–3.0 min, and then polytetrafluoroethylene is deposited on formed PEO-layer from its melt at temperature of 310–330 °C due the processed product dipping with holding in melt for 1–2 minutes, after which the coated article is dried in an oven at gradually reducing temperature to room temperature.
EFFECT: increased resistance of formed coatings to abrasion at simultaneous provision of their high corrosion resistance, simplified method, improved processability, reduced time and power consumption for its implementation.
