FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and is intended to increase durability of a bipolar electrode used, in particular, in application of galvanic coatings by contact method during manufacturing and restoration of parts. Method includes installation of bipolar electrode between anode and cathode with possibility of rotation and deposition of galvanic coating on cathode, wherein bipolar electrode is supplied with additional negative electric potential relative to anode by means of solid electric conductor.
EFFECT: increased durability of a bipolar electrode for application of galvanic coatings.
