FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making a sweep type cutter designed for treating an acetabulum of a patient's hip bone. Sweep comprises essentially hemispherical hollow cutting body with perforated wall (3). Method includes a stage, at which at least one tooth is formed on the body by stamping wall (3). Zone (8a) of section (8) of wall (3) adjacent to hole (10) is clamped between male die (5) and mandrel (7) and deformed with thinning.
EFFECT: improved cutting characteristics of the sweep providing its reliable and durable use.
