FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid element for fastening on shaft of internal combustion engine, and split flywheel and method of manufacture of said element. Proposed solid element is made in form of bowl from of approximately even flat blank by cold plastic working method. Bowl-like construction element, thus formed, has at least one ring axially orientated tubular section with fastening surface for subsequent fitting of starter ring gear. Thrust flange is made in radial direction on one end of fastening surface. Split flywheel is provided with at least primary part with inertia mass, secondary part with second inertia mass and at least one damping device acting in power flow between both parts in circumferential direction. Primary part with inertia mass in proposed split flywheel is solid element of construction. Solid element of construction is made by side pressing out method. As a result, such element of construction is created which is simple to manufacture and non-expensive in manufacture without removal of chips.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture of construction element.
