FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, ecology and nature management. In the method root plants are treated once in the early vegetative phase of agrophytocenosis in the zone of adjoining of phytocenosis to the depth of up to 1 m, composition of an aqueous suspension containing: copper ions Cu2+ in concentration of 12–60 mmol/l and/or zinc ions Zn2+ in concentration of 3–8 mmol/l; citric acid and/or succinic acid in concentration of 20–50 mmol/l in the form of sodium or potassium salts; chitosan in concentration of 5–10 g/l with working solution flow rate of 100–150 ml/m2. Composition of the mixture is selected taking into account information on content of mobile forms of copper and zinc in soil, species composition of phytocenosis, its projective coating and degree of influence on adjacent agrophytocenosis.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce unfavourable action of vegetation as a part of phytocenosis of technogenic intrusions on adjacent agrophytocenosis due to use of suspension of original composition for root treatment of plants.
