FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: agricultural unit in the form of a disc harrow comprises a main frame, at least one battery assembly comprising a support bar extending mainly along the length of the battery assembly. Support bar is attached to the main frame. Disc batteries are leveled relative to length of support bar. Each of the disk batteries comprises a rotary axis of the disk battery resting on the support bar and disks. Discs are located mainly at equal distance along axis of disc battery. Disc batteries of each battery pack are coaxially aligned relative to each other to form a line of disks located mainly at equal distance. Disc harrow comprises a clogging detection system configured to prevent an operator from rotating one or more discs at a rotational speed, which is smaller than that of remaining disc batteries. Clogging detection system comprises a battery rotation sensor for each of the disc batteries in each battery assembly, made to measure the rotation speed of the associated disc battery, and a control unit which compares the rotation speed of each disc battery with the rotational speed of the disc batteries. Method (82) of treatment of soil by an aggregate in the form of disc harrow, containing at least one battery assembly, containing disc batteries, in each of which discs are installed. Method (82) of soil treatment by unit in the form of disk harrow includes: measurement (86) of rotation frequency of each of disc batteries by means of battery rotation sensors; transmission (88) of rotation frequency of each of the disc batteries to the control unit; comparing (90) rotation frequency of each of the disc batteries by the control unit; and display (92) of warning during rotation of one of disc batteries with frequency, which by a certain value is less than value of rotation frequency of other disc batteries.
EFFECT: reduced clogging of disc harrow.
