SUBSTANCE: method of transmitting data comprises steps of: generating, in a base station, a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) control code for data to be transmitted over a physical broadcast channel (PBCH); masking, in a base station, said CRC using a first sequence when the base station is configured to transmit using the single antenna; using a second sequence different from the first sequence when the base station is configured to transmit using two antennae; using a third sequence different from the first and second sequences when the base station is configured to transmit using four antennae. Further, said data are transmitted from the base station and the masked CRC over the PBCH.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing reliability of communication between base stations.
