AUTOMATIC SYSTEM OF ARTIFICIAL LUNG VENTILATION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61M16/00 A61M16/20 A61H31/00 F16K31/08

Abstract RU 2735638 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to an automatic system of artificial pulmonary ventilation. System consists of a body with an inner chamber for receiving respiratory mixture. System comprises a port for feeding the respiratory mixture into the chamber and a port for feeding the respiratory mixture to the patient. System incorporates a pressure control valve and a breathing control valve integrated into the housing. System is configured to adjust pressure in lungs from 5 to 60 cm of water column. Pressure control valve and breathing control valve coupled with permanent magnets operate as a single component. Breathing valve comprises a body, a cover with holes for outlet of respiratory mixture and a rod moving inside the body and cover in axial direction, the working part of which has the shape of a cone conjugated with the body. On the end of the rod there fixed is a permanent magnet turned by a pole to a opposite pole of a permanent magnet fixed at the end of the pressure regulator. Pressure regulator is made with possibility of axial movement in order to change distance between unlike magnets. System comprises a pressure indicator and a spontaneous inspiration valve.

EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a fully automatic system which enables to maintain artificial breathing of the patient and adjust the required pressure in lungs from 5 to 60 cm of water column with specified frequency column; system also allows prolonged ventilation of patients with different body weight and lung volume; system also provides the possibility of using various devices that generate respiratory mixture, which start operation of breathing valve, and do not affect stable operation of the system.
