FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrotechnical construction, namely, to rotary structures designed to change direction of open channel route, having bottom slope exceeding critical, in hydropower, irrigation systems and water supply systems. Turning structure includes supply 1 and outlet 2 channels, coupled with inclined section 3, separating wall 4 and grate. Lattice is made of metal angle section 7 attached in upper part of separating wall 4, and angle profile 7 is extended with its bottom directed downwards to gallery bottom with attachment in upper part of separating wall 4. Separation wall 4 divides discharge channel 2 in rotary section into two compartments - outer compartment and inner gallery. Lattice of individual metal angle sections 7 is interconnected by transverse beams 10 at the beginning and at the end along gallery length. Metal angle sections 7 in the form of a grid by lower expanding sidewalls form angle of 90° and directed towards bottom of inclined section 3 and gallery bottom, on top form sharp edge walls of angle profile, between which there are gaps (gaps) 9, in which passes a turbulent flow when turning from supply channel 1 into outlet channel 2. Angle formed by angular profile 7, under it splits supply flow into multiple jets and enables to reduce water pressure from below when turbulent flow enters the formed gaps of the grate. In the lower part to angle section 7 forming the grid, transverse webs 11 are fixed, made in cross-section in the form of a segment with certain geometric dimensions and placed above the bottom of the gallery of discharge channel 2. In the middle part of side walls 12, 14 of outlet channel 2 there installed are horizontal aprons 15, 16, the length of which is more than length of horizontal deflector 13, in upper part of side wall 12 of outlet channel 2, which prevent water splashes over external compartment.
EFFECT: wider range of use of the structure, high efficiency of operation by improving conditions of water from the gallery to the outlet channel and preventing water over the length of its water overflows of the discharge channel, as well as simplified production of the grid from the metal angle section.
