FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engines and can be used in creation of internal combustion engine volumetric compression and expansion of transport and stationary applications. Essence of invention consists in the fact that four-stroke piston diesel internal combustion engine contains cylinders with pistons, connected to crankshaft, air supply system and gas distribution mechanism with a camshaft and inlet and outlet valves for inlet of air into cylinders and release of exhaust gases therefrom, as well as a high-pressure fuel pump. It includes isobaric feed and isobaric removal of heat to low-temperature source due to different piston stroke lengths in air compression processes, as well as expansion of working medium to pressure equal to ambient pressure. Engine is equipped with header combining cylinders through inlet valves, wherein manifold is equipped with shutoff member of one-way action, and gas distribution mechanism is configured to open inlet valves when lifting piston from lower dead point after filling cylinder with air and bypass air through merging header from one cylinder to another.
EFFECT: improved organization of engine operating cycle, higher thermal and efficient efficiency of engine and power plant, reduced noise level from operation of piston internal combustion engine and reduced emission of hazardous substances with exhaust gases.
