FIELD: kitchen appliance.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the area of kitchen sinks. Sink (1) comprises at least one bowl (2) with bottom wall (3) and circular side wall (4), at least one outlet hole located in lower wall (3), circular rim (5), which is located at the upper edge of bowl (2) around its outer side and extends for a certain distance outside from side wall (4) by distance (E), a row of elastic clamping elements (6) located outside said cup (2) under rim (5). Clamping elements (6) in free or uncompressed state protrude beyond distance (E), on which rim (5) extends, and in loaded or compressed state are designed to provide clamping force in direction outward from side wall. Sink is made at least partially of resin-based material. Elastic clamping elements (6) are fixed on circular side wall (4) under circular rim (5). At least some of clamping elements (6) are fixed to the sink in corresponding recesses in side wall (4) and/or in the transition area between side wall (4) and rim (5). Workstation contains the above-described sink and tabletop (11), in which there is cut-out (11a), in which sink (1) is installed. Cut-out (11a) forms sidewall (11b) extending mainly at right angles to upper surface (11d) and the lower surface of tabletop (11) and located opposite rim (5). Sink (1) is installed in the centre of slot (11a) by means of clamping elements (6), which are compressed between side wall (11b) of the slot and sink (1). Method for installation of above-described sink (1) in tabletop cut-out (11a) consists in making cut (11a) in table top, as well as in sink (1) into cut-out (11a) so that cut-out side wall (11b) is located opposite rim (5), and sink (1) was installed in centre of cut (11a) by means of clamping elements (6), which are compressed between side wall of cut (11b) and sink (1).

EFFECT: facilitating sink installation, improvement of wear resistance and hygienic properties.
