FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for processing suspensions containing organic components, for example biomass containing more than 50 % of water. Plant (1) includes separator (2) for suspension dehydration, tank (3) for dehydrated suspension, pump (4), heat exchanger (5), high pressure pump (6), trap (9) for solid substances, separator (12) for extraction of gaseous products from liquid, heat exchanger (7) for suspension heating and reactor (8) for conversion of at least part of organic components, equipped with pipes, in which there is at least one transport screw with an open center. Transport screws can be made in the form of a spiral element or a helical tape and contain an agent capable of converting organic components. Transport screws are actuated by magnetic interaction by means of an engine. Plant (1) can be equipped with two transport screws with opposite helicity. Outer diameter of transport screw is 0–15 % less than inner diameter of pipe in which it is located. At least one transport screw extends along or above trap (9) and is configured to provide a free flow of the suspension or at least a liquid in the suspension through the center of the corresponding pipe, in which pressure and temperature are increased to bring water contained in suspension to supercritical state and conversion of at least part of organic components. Suspended solid substances are moved along pipes by means of said transport screws.
EFFECT: invention reduces risk of contamination, increases process clearance of pipes, improves heat exchange.
