FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a lubricant for ester-based diesel fuels, wherein the additive contains furfural acetals obtained by reacting furfural and monoatomic alcohols C4-C7 in the presence of a sulpho-cationite catalyst of a macroporous structure, in molar ratio furfural : alcohols C4-C7=1:6–10, at temperature range -5–40°C. Invention also relates to a diesel fuel composition which contains a lubricating additive in amount of 5–20 wt% and ignition promoter in amount of up to 0.4 wt%.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the development of a lubricating additive to diesel fuels, which is furfural acetals.
