FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to general equipment for producing high-voltage pulses and equipment for producing damaging pulses of contact and remote electric shock devices. Generator of high-voltage pulses comprises Marx generator with output electrodes, and stages charged with constant high voltage of 1...100 kV. At the same time parallel to output electrodes of Marx generator through high-voltage solid-state diode assembly containing at least one high-voltage diode, connected to the output electrodes of the Marx generator in a polarity direction of the output pulses of the Marx generator, a current capacitor is connected, which is charged by the input voltage of charging steps of the Marx generator or from an independent constant voltage source.

EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining of high-current high-voltage pulses of different duration with reduction of weight and dimensions of Marx generators.
