FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to production of low-power engines. Due to more complete replacement of sliding friction against friction of rolling, longer service life of engine is achieved, increased reliability during operation that in aggregate increases economic efficiency of engine operation. Proposed rotary-ball engine comprises housing, rotor, elements forming working chamber. Engine housing consists of two identical sections 1 and 2 with rotor 3 installed between shaft 13. Both sections have along inner circle corresponding bores 4 and 5, through which balls 6 and 7 of rotor 3 are rolled, forming at least two working chambers, wherein balls are located in seat 8 of rotor, which is through hole in body of rotor 3, diameter ensuring tight fit of balls, and width of rotor has size providing output of one of balls from seat by not more than by value (size) of its radius. When rolling one ball of rotor on bore second ball is completely in seat of rotor, rolling on surface of section, wherein bore in section must ensure tightness when rolling on it rotor ball.
EFFECT: technical solution allows simplifying engine design, reducing costs during its manufacturing and assembly.
