FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of orientation to the Sun of solar energy panels, closed from unfavorable effects of environment during dust storm, includes orientation of panels in opened position, at which axes of sensitivity zones of panels are set ahead of direction to Sun by means of joint turns coaxially around axis of rotation of rack of each of two panels by means of drive to step-by-step angle. In case of beginning of dust storm surface of sensitivity zones of panels are closed from external environment by turning of one panel to another panel until it stops and at the same time panels are fixed relative to each other and posts before termination of action after joint rotation of closed panels in direction of wind and location in direction close to plane of least resistance to dust storm.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability, preservation of serviceability and resistance of device with panels of solar energy in case of unfavorable effects of environment in dusty storm.
