FIELD: solar engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of solar engineering, in particular to methods for orientation of the receiving device on the Sun and conversion of solar energy to other types of energy, including a receiving device containing concentrators of solar radiation with a narrow-band sensitivity zone. Method for orientation of solar energy receiving device to the Sun and its conversion to other types of energy includes turns at step-by-step angle along azimuth of receiving device after alignment in area along azimuth direction of central axis of sensitivity zone of receiving device with direction to the Sun and start-up of receiving device at the beginning of one of consecutive time intervals. Step-by-step angle is made constant and does not exceed angle of solution of sensitivity zone of receiving device, which is measured from its above central axis, time interval is maintained with constant duration, which is equal to the time, during which the astronomical angular coordinate of the Sun's azimuth on the day of operation of the receiving device is increased by the value of a step-by-step angle, starting from 12 p.m. on the local average time in the middle and high latitudes of the Earth.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of orientation method accuracy.
