FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation, including radio navigation, and can be used to determine spatial coordinates (SC) of stationary or mobile radio object (RO). Method is characterized by that r/s with individual features is generated and transmitted by a ground post radio engineering system (PRES) including at least four ordered numbered points, the coordinates of the phase centres (PC) of the antennae of which are known on the RO. Besides, r/s is received and identified for each point on the ground control station (CS) with the mobile antenna (MA), the phase centre of the antenna (PCA) of which is moved along the specified straight-line trajectory according to the specified law of movement. At PCA fixed position, the frequency spectrum deviation (FSD) of the received r/s from its preset position for each point is measured. When moving the PCA, projections of the PC MA of its speed and acceleration are measured on straight lines connecting the PC MA with the PCA of the points, and based on these projections and movement speed of PC MA, time-varying transit times of r/s from PC MA to PCA of points are determined in accordance with proposed measurement equation. This information is transmitted to corresponding points, where information on FSD and time shifts are used, respectively, for frequency adjustment at each point and for general synchronization transmitted by all points of r/s. When receiving and identifying radio signals on the r/s at RO, relative ranges from the PCA RO to the PCA are determined, and from them and the well-known coordinates of the PCA of the PRES are unambiguously determined by the SC PCA RO.
EFFECT: technical result is absence, including requirements for availability of common time system for transmitting and receiving objects radio signals (r/s).
