FIELD: rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to removal of ice and/or snow from rail vehicle bogie. If necessary or periodically, at least one cleaning jet (16) containing solid particles is directed to the trolley so that ice and/or snow is separated and removed from surfaces of at least some structural units of the trolley. Trolley is located on the rail vehicle in the condition installed on it, while at least one cleaning jet (16) containing solid particles acts on its surface.
EFFECT: effective separation and removal of ice and/or snow from rail vehicle bogie surfaces without causing damage to bogie and structural units located on it, such as braking devices.
