FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to creation of high-strength structural steel, intended for manufacturing of large-size high-loaded parts, operating at temperatures of up to 400–450 °C in various machine building, for example in aircraft and space engineering, for high-thrust engine shafts. Steel contains, wt. %: carbon 0.25–0.32, chromium 3.0–3.5, nickel 12.0–13.0, molybdenum 1.3–1.5, cobalt 7.0–9.0, vanadium 0.1–0.2, niobium not more than 0.05, aluminium 1.4–2.5, boron is not more than 0.003, calcium is not more than 0.05, sulphur is not more than 0.01, phosphorus is not more than 0.01, lanthanum is not more than 0.05, yttrium not more than 0.05, cerium not more than 0.01, iron and impurities - balance.
EFFECT: steel has high strength, ductility and fracture toughness.
