SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in blocking devices of cowl reverser of nacelle thrust. Locking device for cowl (1) of thrust reverser held by nacelle (4) comprises retainer (16) fixed on cowl, and hook (12) made with possibility of engagement with retainer (16). Hook (12) is connected to one end of resilient element (15), the other end of which is fixed on nacelle (4) for elastic displacement of hook (12) in position of engagement with retainer (16). Locking device includes support (6) attached to nacelle (4) and retaining means (7), (9) of locking/unblocking, arranged between hook (12) and support attached to nacelle (4). Locking/unlocking device (7), (9), on one side, is configured to move hook (12) relative to the support attached to nacelle (4), between a position, called a locking position, in which hook (12) is engaged with retainer (16) and exerts pressure on it, and a position, called unlocking position, in which hook (12) is free from retainer (16) or is simply in contact therewith, and to allow, on the other hand, the hook (12) to tilt in order to disengage it from the catch (16) or engage it thereinfor.
EFFECT: disclosed are a nacelle and a method of unlocking a locking device with reduced unlocking time of the cowl.
