SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fodder production and may be used in cattle breeding during production of fodder mixtures. Method for increasing productivity of milking cows consists that in the basic ration one introduces an energy fodder additive consisting of crushed lavender cake that has been subjected to glycerin extraction in amount of 225 g per head for 30 days after calving.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase milk productivity of cows in the first phase of lactation by 10, 9 %, improve physiological and biochemical status.
