FIELD: computer equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method of authenticating a person, in which a collected audio and video stream is received, when an audio and video stream is formed by a target object to be authenticated; determining whether lip-matching and voice are consistent in the audio and video stream, and if lip-reading and voice are consistent, obtaining object identifier for target object by using voice content; determining whether pre-stored registration information comprises an object identifier; obtaining a physiological feature of the model corresponding to the object identifier from the registration information about the object, if previously stored object registration information contains object identifier; performing physiological recognition by audio and video stream, to obtain a target object physiological feature; and comparing the physiological attribute of the target object with the physiological feature of the model to obtain a comparison result, and if the comparison result satisfies the authentication condition, it is determined that the target object has been authenticated.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency and reliability of identity authentication.
