FIELD: mining; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed invention relates to enrichment of potassium sylvinite ores, which contain water-insoluble fractions represented by clay differences. Method of potassium sylvinite ore processing includes ore preparation, thermal treatment and electric separation of ore. Thermal treatment is carried out with microwave radiation with frequency from 2,000 to 3,000 MHz with power from 600 to 1,000 W. Then, material is subject to crown-electrostatic separation to produce clay and salt component. Clay component is sent to dump. Salt is heated from 200 to 300 °C at simultaneous vibration action, then cooling from 100 to 120 °C with simultaneous volumetric vibration action and subjected to triboelectrostatic separation to obtain sylvinite and halite concentrates. Sylvinite concentrate is agglomerated and the halite concentrate is used as a dry salt.
EFFECT: low power consumption and high environmental friendliness.
