FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electric engineering, namely to device of double-phase windings of electric alternating current machines. Double-phase (m = 2) four-zone (N = 4) per phase winding with a number of pairs of poles p0 is performed in monolayer chain Z grooves, in which the left-hand coils arranged in the odd grooves, and right hand coils arranged in the even grooves. Number of series-connected coils qk within each phase zone τφ is reduced: qk=qp/2 and qp=Z/(Nmp0), τp=Z/(Np0), where qp is number of slots per phase and phase zone is equal to whole number of natural row. Winding is performed with step: ycp=τp±k1, where k1 equals a whole number from natural row 1, 2…τp - 1.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics, wider field of application.
