FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electric engineering, namely to device of multiphase windings of alternating current electric machines. Claimed m-phase four-zone winding with pole pair number p0 is made as chain in Z slots, Z=nmp0qF, left sides of coils are located in odd slots, and right sides of coils are located in even slots. At that, qF coils, series-connected within each phase zone τF, equal to even number τF=Z/(4p0) are performed at step ycp equal to plus/minus k1, where k1 equals a whole number from natural row 1, 2 …, and when τF, which is equal to an odd number, are performed with step ycp, equal to plus/minus k2, where k2 equals a whole number from natural row 0, 1, 2 < … >.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of copper.
