FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of various types of carbonaceous raw materials containing non-ferrous metals, such as black oil shale raw material, man-made ash, and so forth. Initial carbonaceous raw material is crushed and mixed with mechanically activated technical hydrolysis lignin used as a binder and a solution of sulphuric acid. Lignin is added in amount of 5–25 wt. % while sulphuric acid solution is added till moisture content of produced charge is 7–10 %. After that, the charge is agglomerated and held for at least 24 hours and then sent for leaching with 20 % solution of sulphuric acid to obtain a liquid phase enriched with non-ferrous metals and cake. Liquid phase is fed for desorption for extraction of metals. Cake is mixed with a binding substance - mechanically activated technical hydrolytic lignin and is formed to produce fuel briquettes.

EFFECT: method increases extraction of non-ferrous metals from carbonaceous material and increases complexity of its use with possibility of utilization of hydrolytic lignin.
