SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to an agent for treating arthritic diseases. An agent for treating arthritic diseases involves an effective amount of chondroitin sodium sulphate and at least one auxiliary substance or carrier, and also contains molybdenum in a relative amount of 0.05 mg/kg to 5 mg/kg in terms of weight of chondroitin sodium sulphate and metal or colloidal silver in a relative amount of 0.05 mg/kg to 5 mg/kg in terms of weight chondroitin sodium sulphate.

EFFECT: method described above enables higher stability of the agent for a long period of time regardless of the form of the preparation containing said agent, as well as increase the effectiveness of preparations of chondroitin sulphate in various forms and reduce negative side effects.
