FIELD: transport machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles electrical traction systems. Device for adjustment of traction power and braking of electric stock under automatic control comprises traction motors, wheelset rpm speed sensors and sandboxes valves, speed difference threshold setting device and channels for locomotive control. Control channels include thyristor converters, wheel pair rotation frequency selection units, speed comparison units, speed difference comparing unit, actuating unit, functional converters, units which select minimum signals, current and braking force setting devices, speed controllers, speed setting unit, two circuits, each of which consists of two differentiation units, units for comparing acceleration and setters of threshold values of accelerations. At that, device for control of traction and braking force also comprises units for differentiation of wheelset speeds, comparators with threshold values of accelerations, unit for correction of threshold value of speed difference, fourth channels of functional converters, fourth inputs of the minimum signal extraction units and additional inputs of the actuating unit.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of traction and braking properties of locomotives.
