SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stall maintenance of animals. Milking stall is designed so that to accommodate one animal at a time for automatic milking of the animal. Milking stall contains first element of long side wall, second element of long side wall, located opposite to first element of long side wall, first element of short end wall and opposite second element of short end wall, entrance door pivotally connected to second long side element, and an exit door pivotally connected to the long side wall second member. Second element of the long side wall is made with possibility of movement towards the first element of the long side wall and from it.

EFFECT: correct positioning of the animal inside the milking stall in the side direction of the milking stall taking into account the animal's width and taking into account the position and reach zone of the automatic milking device.
