SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport systems. Evacuation method of the emergency vehicle by its movement to another point using the evacuation device. Device is made in the form of auxiliary self-propelled vehicle with temporary use of replaceable motor-wheels as driving ones. Proposed device comprises motor wheels, two driven wheels, frame, seat, power supply, control system and device for temporary interconnection with machine. Wheels are installed on frame on front-wheel wheel formula 4×2, with possibility of quick dismantling / mounting of motor wheels. On frame there is box with tool and spare parts. Motor wheels, power supply and mounting / dismantling tools are delivered to emergency machine by evacuation device. After that, the motor wheels are moved from the vehicle to the emergency vehicle instead of its driving or driven wheels. Motor-wheels are electrically connected to power supply and control system. Electric drive of motor-wheels is put into operation and emergency machine is moved in this way.

EFFECT: higher mobility and faster operation of evacuation of emergency vehicle.
