SUBSTANCE: disclosed solution relates to medical devices, particularly to individual respiratory protection means. Proposed device can be used by ambulance teams, police units, firefighters, MES services, in first-aid kits in institutions, as well as for retail sale to private individuals. Protective mask (version 1) includes a protective base having longitudinal folds and fastenings on sides. Two folds directed to one side are fixed by side seams, the base is made of six layers of gauze, having two outer layers and four inner: two layers with open longitudinal cuts are located inside, two are formed by bending of the web, one of longitudinal edges of the base includes open cuts and folds of the web, and the other, including only folds of the web, has a connecting seam. Protective mask (version 2) includes a protective base having longitudinal folds and fastenings on sides. Two folds directed to one side are fixed by side seams, the base is made of eight layers of gauze and has two outer layers and six inner layers: four layers with longitudinal cuts are located inside and four are formed by bending of the web, one of the longitudinal edges of the base includes cuts and folds of the web, and the other one, including only folds of the web, has a connecting seam.

EFFECT: technical result consists in development of protective individual mask design, providing protection of user from dust, direct transmission of infectious particles from mask wearer to other people and vice versa and/or protection of user face from large spray from outside.
