FIELD: measurement of time.
SUBSTANCE: use: to measure longitudinal relaxation time in current medium. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that measurement of time of longitudinal relaxation in the current medium is performed by processing data on the value of liquid q, values of amplitudes U1 and U2, obtained using nuclear magnetic resonance and by processing data on volumes of connecting sections of pipeline Vc2 and Vc1, wherein for flow rate q of the analyzed fluid, at which the signal-to-noise ratio of the detected NMR signal using the modulation technique is greater than 3 (liquid flow rate condition with an error of less than 1%), values of amplitudes U1 and U2 of NMR signals are measured for two connecting sections of pipelines of different volume, after which, using a given ratio, the longitudinal relaxation time in the current medium is determined.
EFFECT: possibility of determining the longitudinal relaxation time of the flowing liquid with a nuclear magnetic spectrometer with an error of less than 1% even in cases, when liquid flow rate q varies by more than two orders without requiring preliminary calibrations of the device using external samples (media).
