FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to physiotherapy, endocrinology, and can be used for treating metabolic syndrome (MS). It is exposed to a low-frequency variable magnetic field and transcerebral amplipulse therapy (SMC) combined with contrast baths. First, in the supine position, the patient is placed on an orbital mastoid technique. Exposure parameters are SMC: alternating mode, III mode of operation, frequency 100 Hz, modulation depth 75 %, half-period duration 1:1.5. Simultaneously, suboccipital exposure to a low-frequency variable magnetic field of intensity 30 mT for 15 minutes, course of 10 daily procedures combined with contrast baths. Contrast baths are performed 2 hours after the procedure of combined transcerebral amplipulse magnetic therapy at water temperature in one pool 18 °C, and in another 40 °C. Time of stay in cold water is 1 minute, in warm water - 3 minutes, repeatability 4-5 times per one procedure, per course of 10 daily procedures.

EFFECT: method enables correcting functional disorders and improving treatment effectiveness and quality of life of MS patients ensured by complex use of low-frequency alternating magnetic field, SMC and contrast baths.
