FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to physiotherapy, gynecology. For treating climacteric syndrome (CS), a magnetotherapeutic exposure in the form of transcranial magnetotherapy (TCMT) combined with general cryotherapy (GCT) is used. GCT is carried out in a common three chamber cryosauna. First chamber temperature is minus 10 °C, second chamber is minus 60 °C, third chamber is minus 110 °C. In the first and second chambers, patient is 40 seconds, and in the third one - 1 to 3 minutes. Therapeutic course is 10 procedures, every other day. TCMT is carried out by means of 12 inductors arranged in the form of a headband and fixed with straps. TCMT used is a traveling pulse magnetic field with induction of 10 mT, frequency of 7 Hz, a duration of exposure of 20 min, every other day - on days when GCT is not performed. Therapeutic course is 10 procedures.
EFFECT: method provides improving the quality of life of CS patients by the integrated use of TCMT and GCT.
