FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmosurgery. For reposition of intraocular lens (IOL), dislocated together with fibro-changed capsular bag, complete liberation of the lens from fibrous-altered tissues of the capsular sac, suture fixation of the support elements of the lens to the iris on the side of the posterior chamber, while providing lens centring. IOL is released in the anterior chamber by first filling the anterior chamber with a viscoelastic, fixing the Malyugin retractor in the form of a square on the pupillary edge of the iris, and then using the instrument to withdraw the IOL capsular bag into the anterior chamber. IOL is then released from the capsular sac and the bag or fragments thereof are removed. After that, one support element is inserted behind the iris and fixed to the iris, then the second support element is brought in, the lens is centred and the second support element is fixed to the iris. Further, the retractor is removed, brought outward and viscoelastic is removed from the anterior chamber.

EFFECT: method provides atraumatic clearing of the IOL from the fibrous-changed capsular sac, stable central position of the lens in the posterior chamber, maximum possible visual acuity, reduced operation time.
