SUBSTANCE: with cataract phacoemulsification in patients with pseudoexfoliation syndrome, micro-access to the anterior chamber, pupil dilatation, capsulorhexis, fixation of the capsular bag using instruments, phacoemulsification, equipping the bag of an open capsular ring into the equatorial zone, followed by implantation of the intraocular lens (IOL) into the bag are carried out. When IOL is implanted, one of the lens support elements is placed in the lower sector of the capsular bag, then the bag is filled with viscoelastic, and the support element located in the lower sector is hemmed to the iris; for this purpose, the cornea is pierced by the suture needle in the area of the projection of the supporting element, passing through the anterior chamber. Then the iris is pierced and simultaneously with a micropusher inserted through the paracentesis, the anterior capsule of the bag is pushed downwards, pressing the edge of capsulorhexis, thereby visualizing the supporting element in the needle path, it is bent with a needle and pierced through the iris into the anterior chamber. Then the front capsule is no longer held with a micropusher and pierced through the cornea outwards, then the suture ends are brought into a paracentesis and a loose suture is tightened, then the viscoelastic is removed.

EFFECT: decreased probability of complications in late postoperative period.
