FIELD: moulding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a molded article for use as a catalyst for producing propylene oxide, comprising a microporous aluminum-free zeolite material of a MWW type structure, containing titanium and zinc (ZnTiMWW), wherein the infrared spectrum of said molded article comprises a band in region of (3700–3750) +/− 20 cm−1 and a band in region (3670–3690) +/− 20 cm−1, where the ratio of the intensity of the band in region (3700–3750) +/− 20 cm−1 relative to the band in region (3670–3690) +/− 20 cm−1 is not more than 1.5, wherein molded article further comprises at least one binder. Invention also relates to use of molded article.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing a new micropowder containing zinc and titanium, containing zeolite material of structure type MWW, which has advantageous characteristics, in particular when used as an intermediate product for producing a catalyst in form of a molded article.
