SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Method of parallel connection of two transformers, which differ significantly in power, with identical transformation ratios, consists in connection of high-voltage windings to supply mains, and windings of low voltage to a network of consumers. On a transformer with a lower short-circuit voltage by switching high-voltage winding branches, setting the transformation ratio calculated according to the expression:
where k1d is design transformer ratio with less short-circuit voltage of transformer; k2 is transformer ratio of another transformer; Us.1%, Us.2% are rated values of short-circuit voltage of transformers.
EFFECT: possibility of loading transformers with different short-circuit voltage to their rated power, which increases installed capacity of system of two transformers.
