To achieve said technical result, method of operating locking system and locking system for electromechanical locking devices. Method of operating a locking system comprising at least one electronic switch, an electronic lock with decentralized control, quick-detachable expansion device (hereinafter referred to as adapter) for locking part is implemented by the following stages: primary activation of the installed deactivated adapter in the locking system, carried out by n number of inserts of at least one activated electronic switch with extended rights (hereinafter master key) into the activated lock with decentralized control, and generating cryptographic data; recording cryptographic data and identification information on constituent elements of the locking system in nonvolatile memory areas of the microcontrollers of the electronic switch, adapter, electronic lock with decentralized control with assignment of autonomous activation status to adapter; recording an adapter using special software in the control device memory, generating cryptographic data; recording cryptographic data and identification information on components of the locking system in nonvolatile memory areas of electronic lock microcontrollers, adapter, control device with assignment of status activated in automation system to adapter; operation of the locking system, carried out by wireless transmission of commands for controlling the lock from the control device in cryptographic form to the adapter and obtaining information on the state of the lock, decrypting cryptographic information by an adapter and, if matched, executing a given command. Locking system for electromechanical locking devices consists of electronic lock with decentralized control, at least one electronic switch and is characterized in that the electronic lock is equipped with an adapter with its own power supply from the door inner side, and is also equipped with a mechanical shaft transmitting force to move the gate valve, wherein the shaft has a shank that articulates with the adapter shank, besides, the electronic lock comprises a connecting electric connector, which coincides with the mating part of the electrical connector of the adapter, transmitting energy of adapter battery to electronic board of lock and key and transmitting information without radiation to air.

EFFECT: technical result, to achieve which the present group of inventions is aimed, consists in creating a method of operating a locking system and a locking system for electromechanical lock devices meeting high security requirements, high reliability, independence, low dependence on factors with simple maintenance and operation.
