FIELD: electronic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety devices for electronic devices. Primary activation of the electronic device is carried out by insertion of at least one activator deactivated for this electronic device into an electronic device, as a result of which cryptographic data are generated. Cryptographic data and identification information on composite elements of the electronic device and this activator are recorded in nonvolatile memory areas of microcontrollers of the activator and the electronic device with assignment of the activator status to the activator with extended rights, and to the electronic device of the activated status. Operation of electronic device safety system is performed by means of insertion of activated activator into electronic device, at which activated activator and activated electronic device exchange identification information to determine availability of cryptographic information transfer permission. Cryptographic information is transmitted from the activated activator to the activated electronic device in the presence of permission for information exchange. Cryptographic information is decoded by the safety module and, if matched, enabling the electronic device to operate the security module. Activated activator microcontroller memory is registered in a non-volatile memory area and a log of events on identification circumstances is recorded in nonvolatile memory area of the microcontroller of the electronic device.
