ULTRASONIC COAGULATION METHOD OF SUBMICRON PARTICLES Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B01D51/08 B01J19/10

Abstract RU 2740899 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of ultrasonic coagulation relates to technique of active action on gas-dispersed systems containing solid or liquid particles of submicron sizes (0.1–2.5 mcm), and is intended for cleaning of air and gas emissions, which are released during various production processes. Method of ultrasonic coagulation of submicron particles consists in formation of elastic oscillations of ultrasonic frequency, introduction of oscillations into gas-dispersed media, propagation of oscillations in them and action of elastic vibrations on foreign solid or liquid submicron particles in gaseous media, wherein effect is carried out on ultrasonic frequency by continuous oscillations or successive pulses, obtained by adding equal-amplitude counter-directed oscillations generated by ultrasonic emitters at multiple frequencies of 21 kHz and 42 kHz, non-lenticular distorted ultrasonic oscillations with sound pressure level of 165–175 dB are formed, in which the rarefaction areas differ by a pressure value not less than 10 times.

EFFECT: invention provides increased effect on submicron particles, which leads to acceleration of coagulation of submicron particles by not less than 2_5 times.
