SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and specifically to automatic control. Fixed parameters of the object are represented as vectors of parameters of the resource object of resource/energy and acquisition of resource/energy by the object. List of resource consumption vectors is generated and the resource is obtained by the object interacting with the environment and interacting with each other within the boundaries of the object itself. Formulated list of vectors of the obtained, processed, stocked, consumed resource/energy by the object on a condition of a non-negative summation of summation of all vectors at any moment in time is controlled. All the transient processes of the resource are found from the functions of the system as characteristics of the linear process, which are limited by the equality of the incoming resource to its resource consumption with the condition of preserving a non-negative or zero balance. Resource transfer of system processes to each other is detected.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the time for identifying an object as a system, improving the accuracy of prediction of the state of the object, improving the efficiency of the selected control method on the object.
